The OSRAM LEDguardian TRUCK FLARE Signal TA19 is an LED signal light that must be carried in the vehicle and used in the event of a breakdown in Germany. This applies to all vehicles with a total weight ≥ 3.5 t in accordance with §53a StVZO. In addition, the TRUCK FLARE from OSRAM also meets the requirements specified in the technical requirements of the StVZO (TA 19). These state that the warning light must meet the following characteristics: An orange flashing light, an uninterrupted operating time of at least 15 hours, a flashing frequency of 1.5 Hz ± 0.5 Hz ≙ 90 ± pulses per minute and a dynamic pressure of 21 kg/m² ≙ wind force 9. Only lights that meet these requirements are officially approved for use in road traffic. The warning light must be lit next to the emergency triangle to indicate the danger zone in the event of a breakdown and/or accident. For vehicles ≤ 3.5t, its use is not mandatory, but for the safety of all road users, its use is of course possible and even recommended. The flashing orange warning light function of the OSRAM LEDguardian TRUCK FLARE Signal TA19 is visible from a great distance and can provide crucial information about a dangerous situation on the road in an emergency. In addition to the emergency triangle, it alerts other drivers to a potentially dangerous situation compared to the simple reflection of an emergency triangle. 
With 6 high-power, long-life LEDs with up to 6000K, it can attract attention even during the day and warn/alert other drivers in advance of a dangerous situation, such as a broken-down vehicle on the road. In addition, the TRUCK FLARE can also serve as a torch, with its additional integrated bright white light function allowing you to inspect and work. Its compact design allows for easy storage and, if necessary, it can be quickly and easily mounted directly next to the emergency triangle thanks to its sturdy, non-slip folding feet. Another advantage is that the included batteries mean that the OSRAM LEDguardian TRUCK FLARE Signal TA19 is immediately ready for use. The LEDguardian TRUCK FLARE Signal TA19 has been tested and validated in an environmental simulation laboratory and is certified to DIN EN ISO/IEC 17025 for extreme external influences in terms of water, dust, heat, cold and impact from falls. With an IP54 protection class, the OSRAM LEDguardian TRUCK FLARE Signal TA19 is resistant to water and dust ingress. OSRAM offers a 2-year warranty for this product.
