MOTUL SPECIFIC 913D 5W-30 is a 100% synthetic Fuel Economy oil specially developed for Ford petrol and diesel engines, including Transit and Ranger. It complies with the FORD WSS-M2C913-D standard, offering superior protection, fuel economy and compatibility with biodiesel up to B7. It keeps the engine clean and efficient for longer.
High-performance Fuel Economy lubricant, 100% synthetic, specially designed for Ford engines and other OEMs that require low HTHS viscosity products (measured under High Temperature and High Shear Stress conditions) between 2.9 and 3.5 mPa.s.
The product is compatible with petrol, flex or diesel engines that require fuel economy lubricants, ACEA A1/B1 or ACEA A5/B5 with a viscosity grade of 5W-30 and Full SAPS technology (high sulphated ash, sulphur and phosphorus content). Compatible with catalytic converters and Particulate Filters (DPFs).
The lubricant was developed for the care of the latest generation of diesel engines. The specification is also used in many petrol engines, such as the 2.5, 1.3, 1.6 and 1.8 Duratec.
The FORD WSS-M2C 913-D standard is particularly necessary for diesel versions of the Ford Transit and Ranger (2012->) with 2.2 and 3.2 L Duratorq TDCi engines, but it is backward compatible with other diesel or petrol engines that require 913-A, 913-B or 913-C lubricants.
In combination with the A5/B5 standard, MOTUL SPECIFIC 913D delivers a real benefit in terms of energy efficiency (more than 3% fuel economy) to meet Ford's commitment to reducing CO₂ emissions.
The 913-D specification also requires extraordinary oil film strength to ensure the oil's viscosity capacity between change intervals. This characteristic is even more important in the current context of sustainability and the use of biofuels such as biodiesel. MOTUL SPECIFIC 913D 5W-30 ensures excellent lubrication properties, such as wear resistance, when using biodiesel up to B7.
In addition, FORD WSS-M2C 913-D has greater soot control capacity. The exclusive dispersant formula of MOTUL SPECIFIC 913D prevents the formation of sludge and the increase in viscosity that soot, a product of combustion gases and EGR, can cause. This ensures resistance to high temperatures and oxidation between oil changes, providing complete protection for your engine.

MOTUL SPECIFIC 913D 5W-30 can be combined with synthetic or mineral oils.
