MOTUL SPECIFIC 504 00 507 00 5W-30 5L LIGHT DUTY OIL - Volkswagen

Specially designed for recent vehicles from the VAG group (VOLKSWAGEN, AUDI, SKODA and SEAT), equipped with engines that comply with Euro 4, 5 and 6 anti-pollution standards and require oil with low sulphur, phosphorus and sulphated ash content (low SAPS). 
MOTUL SPECIFIC 504 00 507 00 5W-30 can be used in all vehicles requiring an oil that meets the above standards: VW 501 01, 502 00, 503 00 and 503 01 for petrol engines, and 505 00, 505 01, 506 00 or 506 01 for diesel engines.
VOLKSWAGEN R5 and V10 TDI engines between 2003 and 2007 must use a product approved to the VW 506 01 standard in the 0W-30 grade, such as MOTUL SPECIFIC 506 01 506 00 503 00 0W-30 or MOTUL SPECIFIC 504 00 507 00 0W-30. 
Service intervals will remain fixed at 15,000 km in Europe for all vehicles that exclusively require a lubricant with VW 501 01, 502 00, 505 00 or 505 01 level, even if the vehicle uses MOTUL Specific 504 00 507 00 5W-30 or MOTUL SPECIFIC 504 00 507 00 0W-30. If in doubt, consult the vehicle maintenance manual before use.

Engines that comply with Euro 4, 5 and 6 anti-pollution standards are equipped with highly sensitive exhaust gas after-treatment systems. VOLKSWAGEN has developed the VW 504 00 and VW 507 00 specifications for engine lubricants, which require perfect compatibility of the oil with after-treatment systems such as catalysts, SCR (Selective Catalytic Reduction) and DPF, in order to ensure flawless reliability of any petrol and diesel engine in VAG group vehicles (VOLKSWAGEN, AUDI, SEAT and SKODA). This type of ‘Long Life’ oil allows for flexible maintenance intervals, controlled by the vehicle's on-board computer.
