MOTUL SPECIFIC 2010 0W-20 is a 100% synthetic high-performance oil developed for BlueHDi engines with SCR and PureTech engines from the PSA Group (Peugeot, Citroën, DS), as well as Opel and Toyota. It complies with the demanding PSA B71 2010 approval and ACEA C5 standard, offering maximum protection, excellent fuel economy and compatibility with DPF and catalytic converters.
High Performance 100% Synthetic “Fuel Economy” engine oil specially designed for the latest generations of “BlueHDi” Diesel engines with SCR (Selective Catalytic Reduction) and “PureTech” Gasoline engines from STELLANTIS / PSA group (Peugeot, Citroën and DS) meeting Euro 4, 5 or 6 emissions levels, and requiring an approved PSA B71 2010 oil.
Suitable for all Gasoline and Diesel engines requiring an approved PSA B71 2010 lubricant such as OPEL, VAUXHALL or TOYOTA.
Suitable also for all modern Gasoline and Diesel engines requiring a 0W-20 viscosity grade Fuel Economy ACEA C5 lubricant.
Before use, always refer to the vehicle owner’s manual.
The ACEA C5 standard requires from the lubricant significant oil film resistance, LSPI protection and low emission performance during use in powerful engines. ACEA C5 standard requires also friction reduction to ensure significant gains in energy savings, and therefore fuel economy benefits.
Approvals:
PSA – Peugeot, Citroën and DS, has developed B71 2010 standard for oils able to endure the most severe thermal constrains along with most modern after treatment systems compatibility. The PSA B71 2010 standard applies to all Peugeot, Citroën and DS vehicles equipped with “BlueHDi” Diesel engines fitted with SCR (Selective Catalytic Reduction) allowing NOx (Nitrous oxides) treatment through the use of AdBlue® additive or so-called “Diesel Exhaust Fluid”. B71 2010 specification also covers most of the recents PSA Gasoline engines, especially the “PureTech” series.
The exclusive technology of reduced Sulfated Ash levels and reduced Phosphorous and Sulfur contents (mid-SAPS) protects and extends lifetime of modern after treatment systems such as SCR (Selective Catalytic Reduction) and Diesel Particulate Filter (DPF).
The 100% Synthetic base stock provides a high thermal stability and insures an exceptional resistance at high temperatures. Prevents from varnish and sludge to maintain engine cleanliness, and lowers the risk of ring sticking. Maximum protection and performance of the lubricant preserved even in the most severe conditions. Low volatility for a reduced oil consumption and outstanding oxidation resistance of the oil to ensure extended oil drain intervals set by PSA.<br/">Meets perfectly the highest demands of performance and durability validated by extensive testing. Compared to others standards already very demanding such as PSA B71 2290 or PSA B71 2312, for its B71 2010 standard, PSA requires lubricants able to cope with the most stringent oxidation resistance and thermal stresses and to be compatible with their aftertreatment systems.
PSA B71 2010 standard also requires improved cold flow properties to reduce hydrodynamic friction of the oil, in order to obtain fuel economy benefits especially when the oil is cold. This extra requirement for cold flow properties allows excellent oil flow at start up, faster oil pressure build up, faster revs raisings and faster operating temperature reach.
The FIAT 9.55535-DM1 specification requires the lubricant to be both ACEA C5 and 0W-20, in order to perfectly lubricate certain petrol and diesel engines from FIAT, ALFA-ROMEO and LANCIA produced from 2018 onwards.
Viscosity grade 0W-20 reduces the hydrodynamic friction of the lubricant, resulting in fuel savings specially when the oil is cold. This type of low viscosity lubricant allows fuel consumption reduction and therefore reduces greenhouse gases (CO2 ) emissions
Change interval: according to the manufacturer's recommendations and specific conditions of use.
Do not mix with non PSA B71 2010 compliant oils.
Before use or in case of doubt, always consult the vehicle owner's or maintenance manual.
